In
February of each year, one of the worlds largest individual
stableford tournaments draws keen club golfers from New Zealand
and abroad to play in a 90 hole stableford competition played
on five superb championship courses in the glorious
weather of the sub-tropical Western
Bay of Plenty region of New Zealand. The field of 480 players is drawn into
four equal groups, and play a different course each day. The
host courses of Tauranga, Mount Maunganui, Omokoroa, Omanu and Te Puke are within a 30 minute
drive of the Tauranga City central UBD and airport, and an hour
from Rotorua and two hours from Auckland. All participants enjoy a fantastic week of golf and social activities and the best weather that the Western Bay of Plenty can provide.
